As a Child of Chernobyl, Katia Stsefaniak received wonderful support from non-profits after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. Katia tells the story of how the programs supporting the Children of Chernobyl personally helped her and how that support was the trigger to finding her travel bug, ultimately leading her to Baja, California.
